在香港筆耕多年後， 新婚的Carmen於2003年決定嫁雞隨雞, 跟隨美籍丈夫返美。 面對新的地方， 最難的事，是要重新認識自己。 終於，成就解鎖，由在香港執筆以寫中文為生，轉型到喺美國寫英文，看似容易，極不容易。多年來過着半遊牧生活，住遍美國東南西北5個不同州份，現居波士頓鄰近小鎮，日間在當地一家大學從事市場推廣工作，晚上忙於周旋在家中一大兩小之間，難得找來時間讀書寫字，調節心理。首篇英文短篇小說FOURTEEN，刊於小說集HONG KONG NOIR (Akashic 2018) 一書中。
